Stephanie has exhibited her work in several group and solo exhibitions. In 2013, with generous support from the Ontario Arts Council, she joined fellow artist Biljana Baker (watercolours) and Susan Dykstra (photography) to produce Elements of Expression, an exhibition involving the visual interpretation of ten words through three mediums of art. Again in May 2017, with support from the OAC, Stephanie joined with ten local artists produce an exhibition titled Introspective Visions for Etobicoke Civic Centre in Etobicoke, Toronto.
Stephanie continues to participate in exhibitions held at Thunder Bay’s waterfront in the Baggage Building, as well as Definitely Superior Art Gallery’s annual members show and Magnus Theatre (A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline, 2012). In the fall of 2017, she exhibited out of In Common Restaurant in Thunder Bay. She was the Baggage Building’s first Artist-in-Resident during the summer of 2012, providing a place of instruction for both children and adult painting classes. At that time she held an exhibition of work created at the building (Back to Wonderland, 2012), followed by A Few Good Men, A Daughter’s Tribute (June, July 2013). In summer 2011, she was the Artist-in-Resident at the Rainge Art Gallery at the Painted Turtle, (Down the Rabbit Hole, 2011). In 2010, she exhibited out of Lot 66 Tapas Wine Bar as well as the Lakehead Rotary Club’s December Dreams Arts and Crafts show (2011, 2010).
Stephanie has been the recipient of several awards, some of which include the Canadian Regional Cancer Society Purchase Prize (2000), the Framing Post Award (2003, 1999), the Visual Arts Network Award (2003) and the People’s Choice Award at the 2003 Lakehead University student exhibition. She was given the Juror’s Pick Award at GrannArt Gallery’s First Annual Juried Exhibition (2003). In 2007, she was awarded the Conservation Area Scene Award and the People’s Choice Award at the second annual Plein Air Festival at Hazelwood Lake. Stephanie was commissioned in 2003 to create four new works for the opening of the new Hogarth-Riverview Manor. Most notably, she became a recipient of the 2012 Regional Arts and Heritage Award with the City of Thunder Bay. Her work can be found at the Baggage Building Art Centre and on ETSY.
